Google has never ever revealed the details regarding YouTube's revenues and profit officially as far as I know. They bought YouTube for US$1.65 billions way back in the year 2006. It is but everyone guesswork and estimates as to how much money YouTube potentially make and most of it pointed to its acquisition of youtube to be a bargain purchase on hindsight which was considered to be not so at the time of acquisition.
eMarketer has come out recently with its own estimates of the money YouTube is bringing in.
According to eMarketer, YouTube's gross ad revenues will rise 51.4% to US$5.6 billions in 2013, accounting for 11.1% of Google's total revenues and;
Once YouTube has paid ad partners and video creators their share of the revenues, its net ad revenues are still expected to reach US$1.96 billions this year, up 65.5% compared to 2012's US$1.18 billions. It is still pretty decent.
