How to never combine taskbar buttons in a group in windows 8

1. Right click on the Taskbar and then select Properties to open the Taskbar Properties.
2. In the Taskbar and Navigation Properties dialog box that opened, you will see the label Taskbar buttons and to the right there is a drop down selection menu which has the following options,

• Always combine, hide labels (default)
• Combine when taskbar is full
• Never combine

So if you wanted to never combine then select the last option. That's it
